Happy Healthy Hearts

The annual number of deaths from CVD in India was projected to rise from 2.26 million in 1990 to 4.77 million in 2020. In fact, coronary heart disease prevalence rates in India have been estimated over the past several decades and have ranged from 1.6% to 7.4% in rural populations, and from 1% to 13.2% in urban Populations. Therefore, it is more important to keep people informed about their sedentary lifestyle and guide them about how they can take care of their heart as a proactive measure.

At Shabbad, we have taken this initiative to create awareness about heart disease by educating people on signs and symptoms of heart attack, exercise routines, healthy lifestyle, diet modification in support of many charitable hospitals and healthcare practitioners. As an NGO, we also distribute awareness kits to all the patients (as part of free awareness camps) so that they can keep track of their health at their homes.

We support basic treatment expense to those who are not covered under any Government scheme and also educate them to enroll under PM Health schemes like Ayush Man Bharat . We conduct regular education Camps on do’s and don’ts of heart care .
